Cast List: Maril Leyfinder

The main character of this story. Maril is a gnome mage. She is a young adult, in gnome years, and still lives with her parents in their home in one of the suburban-like Minor Nobel’s districts in New Rimston. She has an ‘Infrastructure’ mage work permit stamp but wishes she had an ‘Intricate Item’ stamp instead.

Owen is an adult human who is employed by the Leyfinder family as a butler. His primary chore it to chaperone Maril as she travels around working on her assignments. He has been employed by the Leyfinders since his teenage years when they hired him to do chores around the house.

Bert is a young adult gnome mage who works with his father in their family-owned wood workshop. He has an ‘Intricate Item’ mage work permit. In the past, he has had trouble working in the woodshop because he has too much mana and is not very good at controlling it.

Nora is a teenage human girl who has been recently hired part-time by the Leyfinder family. She assists Vicki, the cook, and sometimes serves as a maid for Maril. Nora is a non-mage younger daughter of one of the human families that live on the same street as the Leyfinders

Vicki is an older human lady who has been the Leyfinder’s cook for many years.

Maril’s father is an older gnome mage with an ‘Infrastructure’ mage permit. He is a prestigious infrastructure mage and usually works on new and/or important buildings and structures in the city.

Maril’s mother is an older gnome woman. She is not a mage but is from a family of mages.
